I am not much for non-fiction, but this was interesting enough for me to finish. As a woman it is nice to be able to relate to some of the issues she has encountered in her life (Hair, finding a job, men, and cancer).
I went to pick up anything by Mark Twain to become more familar with his writing. I ended up really enjoying this book. It was written in a time where racial slurs were accecptable, but if you can get past that, the story will capture you!
