It is one of my favorite books on spirituality ever. Being Russian, the word "soul" means a lot to me. Even through Soviet years, the Russian folk continued using the word "душа" (dusha - soul) in many everyday expressions, despite the fact that everything traditionally related to religion was forbidden after the October Revolution 1917. But Dusha, or Soul, is what makes us people, no matter our beliefs, our soul is something so much deeper, more ancient and profound than any teaching on our planet. I really enjoy the language of Thomas Moore - it is soothing to just follow his turns of phrases. He also will surprise you, I think, quite a few times, some of the examples and conclusions in the book are wonderfully paradoxical. I highly recommend to anyone who is in need of healing and soul searching.
