The Hunger Games is an dystopian novel, sure to keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you craving more; a novel that will make you cry, laugh, and keep you asking yourself: How much more further can Katniss go? Comment: This book is captured raw feelings of grief and immeasurable lost. But woven through the plot is love and happiness, which added another layer to a book full of suffering. I loved the world that Collins built; it was complex yet simple to understand. Even though this is the first novel in The Hunger Games trilogy, the characters are well-developed and have a lot of depth to them. I began to admire Katniss’s bravery as the story progressed, and I began to feel what Katniss was feeling. Collins is undoubtedly a powerful writer, and I throughly enjoyed this novel.
