I liked the first one in the series, and alhtough this has a great premise, I found myself getting bored with it. I'm afraid I skipped ahead a bit, feeling a bit mired in the details, but then again, I like a lot of action and dialogue. I'm trying to read some "good" kids' books for my nine year old daughter, and I can't imagine kids staying interested long enough to finish it. Just my opinion.
