The real star of this turkey is Oak Alley, the magnificent mansion about 2 hours west of New Orleans along the fabled River Road, and which was also used at the beginning of "Interview with the Vampire". The notorious lady of the manor back in the 1700's somehow killed all the Spanish moss in the oaks for some reason, and they still can't make any grow back to this day. Legend hints at voodoo. The place is also really haunted. I remember the guide saying near the garden trellis that you see in the wedding scene is called The Whistling Walk, because the kitchen slaves were made to whistle as they approached the house from that side so the mistress would know they were coming in. I think the guides said she murdered one of them, and the ghostly whistling is still heard sometimes by staff. The scenes of New Orleans also are worth watching this straight to video effort.

This was a pretty good movie considering it was a low budget Nora Roberts based movie.
