I really enjoyed watching Princess Protection Program! It was a big film when I was a kid, and re-watching it was still as enjoyable! I think that this is a movie geared mainly to older kids / younger teens, but would still be entertaining for people of all ages! The story line is creative, and all of the characters are very engaging! I thought that Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato did a great job at portraying their characters, and made the movie really fun to watch! I would definitely recommend this movie to other viewers! There is a great balance of humour, action, adventure, and story development, that is sure to please all audiences! @PenelopeScriptor of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
The Princess Protection Program movie was a great and empowering story that told a tale of friendship between two unlikely girls that win over each other's hearts. A princess is forced to leave her country for the sake of her country's safety and future. Princess Rosalina, now disguised as Rosie, is "welcomed" into a cozy, rural town called Wisconsin, and befriends the daughter of her personal agent, Agent Mason. Carter, Mason's daughter, helps untangle her insecurities and build up a newfound courage that she didn't have before. As both teenagers try to sort through their personal troubles, their lives intermingle and lead to trouble. In the end, Carter and Rosie portray a strong, and great message of friendship. I definitely loved this movie. This is one of the types of movies I could watch over and over again, and never get bored of it! If you love drama and Disney, then you need to watch this movie! No matter what age, or genre you like, this movie will sure to catch your attention!
